Bush Family Reunion June 19-20

We spent the weekend in Idaho for the Bush family Reunion. We had a great time being with our family.

Tytus eating hot dogs with grandpa. We also roasted marshmallows for smores, yummy!

My boys enjoying the water of course, Isaiah was all wet!

Going into secret places to look for treasure

We found a bug net and a tennis ball!

Tanner, Dallin, Danielle Lila, Mya, Isaiah, Tytus and Micha. Grandma was nice to watch Jonas while I took these kids EXPLORING!

Danielle Lila, my big helper, helping the kids cross the "River" safely

Tytus and Micha were telling Ghost Stories to the grown ups by the campfire. They sure got a kick out of those two. Tytus's stories were full of Vampires and Bloody Skeletons!

All the kids were given glow sticks that night also. When it got dark you could see a bunch of different colors dancing around in the Field. I also heard someone calling for Master Anikin!

Jonas not wanting to stay in place for the pic.

The kids actually did real well camping out. Everyone stayed in their spots, it wasn't to cold and luckily it only sprinkled a little before we got up. Jonas was all over the place that night when we were getting ready for bed. He loved being in the tent. I think it was because he finally got to crawl around and not have to be held or in his stroller. (I did not want him crawling around on the ground and putting things in his mouth)

For breakfast we just took cold cereal and donuts. Jared was brave enough to cook a nice hot breakfast and was so kind to share with us!

Another round of exploring, this time the dads came too
Posing in front of an old car
The kids were eager to climb the "Mountain". As you can see they got a good head start.

No More Nursing

It's official, I am no longer nursing. My heart is saddened! And most people think I'm crazy, but Jonas is my last baby and I will never nurse again. What a most precious gift I have been able to share with my babies, I will always cherish those moments! I nursed Danielle Lila for 7 months, Tytus for 8 months, Isaiah only 1 month, that was sad for me also, and Jonas 11 months (the longest of course because he is my last). I know that nursing is not for everyone, but I totally would recommend it. I loved it! I can't even put it in words to describe how I feel about it. I do know that I am grateful to my Heavenly Father for allowing me to enjoy this blessing!

(the above picture is actually one of Isaiah taken at a photo shoot for a friends project, pics of infants and children to be displayed at the Chandler Regional Hospital in Chandler Arizona. Isaiah was getting fussy so we had to take a nursing break. My friend had this beanie that she had wanted to use for herself but never got a chance to, so she asked if I would mind being photographed. I absolutely love it! She said it was one that was chosen to be displayed in the hospital, but I never got a chance to see it.)

China

The other night Daniela asked me if I had ever been to China.
Today:
Daniela: See mom I told you you've been to China! (as she hands a pair of my scissors to Jody)
Me: Why do you say that?
Daniela: Your Scissors say China!
Me: No honey, but some of the things we have are Made in China.
Jody and I had to laugh, it was so cute!

Painting Fun!

Finally a beautiful day in June! The kids have been asking to paint for a few days so I broke out Jodys art supplies and let them go to work. They had such a good time and they didn't get that dirty!Poor Jonas had to sit and watch in his high chair though. He's just all over the place now, he's always trying to get outside to be with the kids!

The USS Enterprise

Here it is the ship that Jody made for Isaiah and he loves to play with it! Jody says he use to make things like this back in the day with his toys. What a great dad!

Bath Time!

We don't have a bathtub in our apartment, so the sink will have to do.
Lately Isaiah really wants to get in too!

Please Don't Get Bigger

OK so I'm one of those mom's who gets kind of sad when she sees how big her kids are getting and she doesn't want them to grow up! We called Isaiah "Baby Isaiah" and he said no it's Big boy Isaiah and Baby Jonas", I getting bigger! I told him that he needed to stay little or I wouldn't be able to hold him anymore. But I get taller and then I kiss you was his reply! I told Tytus the same thing and he said, I'm going to be five! I'm getting bigger like my dad. I can't believe he starts Kindergarten in August. Time flies!
